College Admissions

Whether you’re applying to a one-year professional diploma program, a four-year bachelors program or a six-year graduate doctorate program, you’ll need to go through the admissions process-selecting a list of schools that match your requirements, and providing them with the forms and other materials that will allow them to decide whether or not you qualify to enroll and begin taking classes.

At some colleges and universities, applications will be complicated and involved; at others, they will be simple and straightforward.  Similarly,  college admissions will be very competitive at some colleges and universities; at others, any student who meets certain baseline requirements will be offered the chance to attend.

Take some time to review all the college admissions topics we have.  We can guide you through the ins and outs of admission to both undergraduate and graduate programs.

We’ll harp on a couple of things over and over again:  staying organized and speaking to colleges.  Organization is important for students going through the application process because forgetting to send in a transcript or test score can often be the difference between getting in and not getting in.

Speaking with schools is often the best way to get a sense of their programs and requirements.  You’ll find it is all to easy to get lost in a web of internet sites and glossy brochures;  there is no substitute for speaking with a flesh-and-blood human being and getting some real, practical information about their school and its programs.

Remember, if you are ready to get some more information from some programs, or just need some friendly advice about your educational future, give us a call here at myFootpath. It’s totally free and our staff of college experts is here to help.
